Cabell Midland DECA Chapter advance to International Conference

Students from Cabell Midland High Schools DECA Chapter attended the West Virginia State DECA Competition in Charleston, March 11-12, 2018.

The Career Development Conference features motivational speakers, competency-based competitive events and state officer elections. Winners will represent West Virginia at the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, April 19-25, 2018.

The following students placed in the respective categories:

First Place:

Tyler Morrison - Sports Marketing Series
Ben Powell - Start up Business Plan
Kaitlyn Brown - International Business Plan

Second Place:  

Jackson Shouldis - Business and Marketing Series
Jessica Kraschnewski and Caroline Kinder - Apparel and Accessories Marketing

Third Place:

Ashley Smith and Ethan Layne - Innovation Business Plan
