Project a Collaboration between Student Ambassadors and Broadcast Journalism Program

The Cabell Midland High School Academies of Career Excellence (ACE) will be hosting an exclusive video premier in the school’s auditorium, Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.  Community members and media representatives are invited to attend.

The student produced feature highlights the many programs of study offered by the school and will be shown to students in the Freshman Academy.  It will be posted on the school’s website after the premier event.  The video is a joint effort between ACE Student Ambassadors and Broadcast Journalism students.

“With the recent upgrades to the television studio equipment we are anxious to begin aligning student learning and projects with industry standards,” said Bekka Atkins, Cabell Midland Career Academy Coordinator.

The Broadcast Journalism program is actively seeking mentors working in the mass communications field.  They are also encouraging media professionals to serve on the programs advisory committee.
